Circadian Rhythms Regulate Sleep-Wake Cycle Lots of Vitamin D and E Too

Sunshine provides the benefits of lifting your mood.  It helps facilitates the secretion of serotonin. Serotonin boosts mood.  It helps the person feel calm, composed, and focused. When there is not enough serotonin, the mood declines.  When there is less amount of serotonin, it leads to depression. Thus, when there is less sunshine exposure, there is less serotonin, and it leads to Seasonal Affective Disorder as a result of seasonal changes with less exposure to sunlight.

When exposed to moderate amounts of sunlight, the benefits are immense.  This is one reason why Sunshine has been connected to hope. The sun can, thus make you happy.

Circadian Rhythms Regulate Sleep-Wake Cycle

The biological effects of the sun on one’s mood are huge.  When there is a mental status change causing agitation and pressured speech.  Serotonin is produced in the brain and gut. It controls mood, memory, sleep, and cognition. Activities, like smiling, exercising, Sunshine, and eating well, triggers the synthesis of eating well.

Circadian rhythms have a daily cycle, and it responds to physical, mental, and behavioral changes. The rhythms react to light and darkness in the environment of the organism. The Circadian rhythm regulates the sleep-wake system.  If the Circadin rhythm should be explained plainly, it can be explained as a physical, mental, and behavioral change that follows a daily cycle. The rhythm responds to light and darkness with being awake and asleep, respectively.

The Circadian Rhythm is essential to set the sleeping and feeding patterns of all organisms, including human beings.  It sets the clear patterns for brain wave activity, hormone production, cell regeneration, and other kinds of biological activities. When the Circadin rhythm is set with a routine, the organism feels at peace.

This is a major reason for why we feel disrupted when we don’t have a reliable routine.  The cause for disruptive mood is related to distracted Circadin Rhythm. When a human being does not have a clear track of what to expect next, the Circadin rhythm has trouble setting itself in a relatively comfortable cycle.

Distracted circadian rhythm leads to impulsivity and a lot of physiological and behavioral changes. It can take many days to adjust the altered sleep cycles. However, the body has the capability to reset the Circadian clock to return to normal.

Circadian Resetting and Melatonin

So, what should you do when you are having bouts of disruptive mood, and you are not able to come into peace with what is happening around you? Help your body with some natural doses of melatonin.  Find a dark, silent, and conducive place to go into a deep sleep phase.

If you are not able to sleep deep in a day, set the routine sleep time and go do bed and try to your eyes closed regardless of whether you are able to sleep or not.  The natural intelligence of the body will know what you are trying to achieve, and it will induce sleep in a few days. Set the melatonin flowing, and your serotonin regulation will be automated.  Wake up to the sky. Set your mood, right. Combine it with improved doses of Vitamin D and E.
